Description

The Ministry is planning to replace the existing coverall fabric on the Port Hope Patrol Yard material storage building and install steel cladding on the building structure.

The contract shall include an engineered design to incorporate steel cladding onto the existing steel structure of the building, i.e., strapping system; and front and rear wall designs as required. The design is to consider snow, wind and other loading requirements for the Port Hope area as required.

Should existing electrical systems need to be temporarily moved during construction activities, they shall be re-installed properly as per required codes and in working order post-construction.

The existing coverall fabric is to be removed and properly disposed as part of this contract. Any materials used for this project are to be reviewed and approved by the Ministry prior to use.
