Description

The City strives to enhance winter maintenance for commuters and Cyclists. The application of Road salt assists The City in de-icing the road surfaces to make for a safe driving surface. There are two (2) schedules based on season, Proponents can bid on one (1) or both schedules. Proponents must clearly identify on the proposal submission which Schedules they are responding to. Schedule - 1. Winter Coarse Crushed Road Salt Supply and Delivery – Supply and delivery of material from October to end of April. Schedule - 2. Summer Coarse Crushed Road Salt Supply and Delivery – Supply and delivery of material from May to end of September. Includes stacking of material in identified sheds to maximize storage capacities.
