Description

The City of Grande Prairie (the “City”) is requesting detailed submissions from qualified and experienced proponents to design, engineer and construct an air-supported structure to accommodate a FIFA regulation-size soccer field while also accommodating various sports activities. The structure is intended to be used year-round and must comply with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

The City estimates that site work will begin this year, with project completion in the spring of 2026.

The location of the facility is a subdivision parcel of 3.21 hectares (7.94 acres) of vacant lands located in Trader Ridge. The estimated size of the facility is approximately 135,000 square feet plus the auxiliary building. A site concept sketch has been included as an attachment within the bidding site.
