Description

The scope of work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: − Traffic Accommodation for Bridge Construction, including the closure of TR 261A, 274, 285, and RR 274 as outlined in the Tender (it is anticipated that TR 290 will only require temporary closures due to the installation method though this is to be confirmed); − Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Testing; − Fish Capture and Release; − Removal and appropriate disposal of existing structures (excluding BF 01525 which will remain in place); − Structural and Channel Excavation; − Backfill; − Installation of Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors standard CSP and SWSP bridge-sized culverts; − Heavy Rock Riprap – Class 1/Class 1M; − Construction of concrete end treatments; − Water and Environmental Management; − Grouting of the existing culvert at BF 01525); − Roadway work (all gravel roadways). Additionally, the project shall be constructed in accordance with: − The technical requirements of the Tender (not yet released); − The Project Drawings provided by the Consultant (not yet released); − The General Specifications and Specification Amendments for Highway and Bridge Construction – Edition 16, 2019; − The Standard Specifications for Highway Construction – Edition 16, 2019; − The Standard Specifications for Bridge Construction – Edition 17, 2020; − All environmental regulations and approvals per site; and, − All applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws, codes, standards, regulations, and by-laws.
