Description

The Hinton Training Centre (HTC) develops and delivers professional technical training programs for employees of the Province. Additionally, the HTC also delivers workshops, conferences and provides meeting spaces to a variety of clients. The facility has onsite residences, a gym, a museum, and a commercial kitchen that can accommodate 10,000+ clients annually. The Province requires catering services to be provided at the HTC on an “as needed” basis with no guarantees of work. The Province requires a Contractor to provide Food Services during Service Days for the Training Centre’s clientele. Clientele includes training participants and individuals attending day courses, meetings, and events at the HTC. Food Services are set out in Appendix B of this RFP, and include the following, without limitation: a. managing overall operations of the Facilities; b. hiring and training staff to deliver the Services; c. preparing and providing the Contractor’s Five-Week Menu; d. providing daily food, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and occasional snacks for the HTC; and e. providing Off-Site Meals-to-go, when requested. f. provide a 5-week meal plan Due to the dynamics associated with wildfire management, the successful Proponent will need to be flexible and adaptable to satisfy the needs of the Province.
