Description

The Consultant will develop and implement a plan to meet eligible activities outlined in the BC Indigenous Engagement Requirement Fund. The Consultant will also help ensure that proposed activities are acceptable to local Indigenous Governing Bodies (IGBs). Areas of focus may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Consultation and Co-operation • Relationship building • Reconciliation and capacity building Some key questions to be addressed in this project also include: • Which IGBs should our local governments consult with? • What would that consultation between the IGBs and our local governments look like, and at what stages should that consultation occur?
