Description

The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following:

Upgrades to the existing Densadeg No. 1 clarifier scum collection system. This will include providing a new (or modifying the existing) scum pipe to the performance specifications enclosed, adding a spray bar to push scum toward the pipe, and providing a new actuator and worm gear assembly for the scum pipe. Work includes subsequent electrical and controls upgrades, programming, and commissioning of the new system. This work will be carried out at McLoughlin Point Wastewater Treatment Plant amidst active plant operations.

A non-mandatory pre-tender site meeting will be held on August 29, 2024 at 11:00 am at McLoughlin Wastewater Treatment Plant. Tenderers are recommended to visit the site to ensure that they have satisfied themselves of everything and of every condition that could affect the execution of the work. Tenderers are encouraged to make enquiries to satisfy themselves of the work requirements.
