Description

The Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM) is seeking engineering consultant Service Proposals for the completion of building condition assessments and development of a capital plan to support the strategic asset management of thirty-one (31) edifices. Services are to include the preparation and completion of a Facility Condition Index (FCI) Report for each of the thirty-one (31) edifices. The FCI data will provide the requisite key information to enable planning of ongoing repairs and maintenance of each property. The assessments shall be completed in accordance with ASTM E2018-15 Building Condition Assessment Standards. CBRM shall utilize this data to provide coordination and planning between department to guide Consultants, Contractors, and CBRM Staff on how to best prioritize, manage, and maintain these edifices
