Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service of Canada has a requirement for Veterinarian Services at Collins Bay Institution and Joyceville Institution.
Objectives: To provide Veterinarian Services for livestock that is part of the CORCAN Agriculture program at Joyceville and Collins Bay Institutions, including both a dairy herd and a beef
herd.
Deliverables:
1. The Contractor must provide vaccinations according to a mutually agreed upon vaccination schedule, within 30 days of standing offer award.
2. The Contractor must provide the following veterinary care in accordance with a schedule agreed upon with the project authority:
a. The Contractor must provide annual vaccinations to ensure vaccinations are up to date for each animal.
b. The Contractor must perform routine health checks for cows .
c. The Contractor must perform pregnancy check for cows.
3. The Contractor must provide treatment to the livestock for illnesses and injuries, as requested.
4. The Contractor must provide all medicines, supplies and equipment required for the treatment of the cattle.
5. The Contractor must provide the most current Fee Guidelines established by the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA), throughout the duration of the standing offer.
Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.

Duration of Standing Offer and Time Frame for Delivery:
Period of the Standing Offer: The Work is to be performed during the period of standing offer award to 31-July-2027, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.
