Electrician services for Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Research and Development Centre.

Scope of Work:

Agriculture and Agri Food Canada’s Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Research and Development Centre (SaintJean RDC) is seeking to establish a standing offer (SO) with one (1) electrical contractor, in order to receive services for the maintenance, repair and installation of electrical systems at its centre located at 430 Gouin Blvd., Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec J3B 3E6, as well as at its L’Acadie Experimental Farm (the Farm) located at 1134 Route 219, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec J2Y 1C4.


Site Visit:

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at the main entrance of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Research and Development Centre, 430 Gouin Boulevard, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC J3B 3E6 on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024. The site visit will begin at 9:00 AM, local time.
Bidders are requested to communicate with Isabelle Lizée at isabelle.lizee@AGR.GC.CA no later than Monday, July 8th, 2024 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Tender Period Closing Date and Time: July 18, 2024 at 2:00PM (EDT).

Information requests and inquiries related to this tender process are to be directed, in writing, ONLY to the AAFC Contract Officer identified below. Bidders who contact anyone other than the AAFC Contract Officer to obtain such information during the solicitation period may, for that reason alone, be disqualified.

It is MANDATORY for the Firms intending to submit tenders on this project to obtain the related specifications, plans and drawings, and all other tender documents through the CanadaBuys service provider’s platform. Addenda, when issued, will be available from the CanadaBuys service provider platform.

AAFC reserves the right to accept any Proposal in whole or in part, without prior negotiation and reject any or all Proposals
received.
