Description

The successful Contractor will be expected to provide Vehicle Towing and Storage Services on an as, if, and when required basis and be available 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days/year. This will include requests from all City departments including but not limited to the Abbotsford Police Department, Abbotsford Fire Rescue Services, City Operations, Bylaws, Abbotsford International Airport Operations, and Abbotsford Downtown Business Association. The Contractor will have approved facilities that will accommodate all vehicle tows and impoundments. The approved facilities will include Abbotsford Police Department Secure Storage that will accommodate a minimum of six (6) vehicles that require secure storage as determined by the Abbotsford Police Department (see Section 7 APD Storage Requirements and Procedures). All City of Abbotsford vehicles and mobile equipment will be towed on as if and when required basis as set out in the deliverables or as agreed to by both parties resulting from the negotiation and award of this RFP Request for Proposals.
