Description

Mohawk Medbuy Corporation and Scarborough Health Network invite interested contractors to submit their qualifications for the Centenary Hospital Emergency Department Redevelopment Road Realignment Project. Work is to be performed at the Centenary Hospital, 2867 Ellesmere Rd, Scarborough, ON M1E 4B9.

Contractors will be evaluated based upon their demonstrated qualifications to perform a full range of early works diversified construction services including but not limited to, site preparation, environmental protection, excavation & earth works, watermain & sewer installation and road construction.

The project scope includes reconfiguration of a portion of the main hospital ring road and adjacent parking lot areas, which will accommodate a future building expansion and create pedestrian and vehicular roadways and paths that meet current safety and accessibility standards. Landscape work includes new paving and planting. Electrical work includes new lighting, security cameras and power-operated parking gates. This scope of work will be carried out using a CCDC-2 (2020) Contract. It is anticipated that a Request for Tenders for the work will be issued before June 2024.

A detailed Scope of Work and complete set of Specifications and Drawings for this project will be provided in the Stage 2 RFT.

Prequalified Contractors will be confirmed through the Ontario Tenders Portal.
