Description

The goal of this RFP is to find a Health Benefits Administrator to run a supplementary health benefit program - Alberta Adoption and Private Guardianship Supplementary Health Benefit Program. This program targets all children under 18 in Alberta who achieve legal permanency through adoption or private guardianship, including those adopted through licensed adoption agencies.

The successful proponent will be responsible for finalizing program details with the Province, registering eligible participants, confirming eligibility, and administering the program.

Service deliverables include administering the health benefit program, developing a system for families to apply directly to the Contractor, and coordinating with Children and Family Services to assess eligibility, enroll children, issue health benefits cards, and manage benefits.
