Description

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to award up to a 2-year service contract with an optional 3 x 1 year extension to Ad Astra.
Ad Astra’s scheduling system is currently being used at the University of Calgary. Their system currently interfaces with the University’s ERP System (PeopleSoft). This system is being utilized by students, staff, and alumni

Ad Astra offers additional functionalities as outlined in the ACAN.

The University may look at similar platforms in the future, however as Ad Astra is currently ingrained within the institution, there is currently no alternative systems. UCalgary cannot implement a new system without disruption or requiring additional resources. Currently, it is UCalgary’s understanding that Ad Astra is the only system that that can meet their requirements.
