PROJECT
.1 Town of Hampton (the "Owner") has contracted Bird Construction Group (the
"Contractor") to act as construction manager for the Owner for the Hampton Multipurpose
Facility (the "Project").
.2 The Project is located at Hampton, NB (the "Project Site").
.3 The Owner"s consultant is DSRA Architecture (the "Consultant").
.4 The Project will ultimately consist of a new multi-purpose sport facility in Hampton, NB.
Facility will be approximately 4650 m2 built on 1.2 hectares of land. It will have an NHL
sized ice surface, six dressing rooms, 539 fixed seats, an elevator, a raised walking track,
100 seat community room, kitchen, canteen and administrative offices

1.2 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
.1 The intention of this Request for Proposals ("RFP") is to request on behalf of the Owner
and to formalize and receive responses ("Proposal") from trade contractors
("Subcontractor") for the performance of the TP.05.a - Formwork ("Subcontract Work")
for the Project in accordance with this RFP.
.2 The Subcontract Work will be in accordance with and the general scope of work outlined
in this RFP.
.3 The successful bidder agree to enter into Bird"s Standard Form 10.2 Subcontract and
Appendices (the "Standard Form Subcontract") with the Contractor including all
requirements of the the prime contract between the Owner and the Contractor CCDC 5B
(the "Prime Contract") that are relevant and applicable to the Subcontract Work together
with the requirements of this RFP (collectively, the "Subcontract"), subject only to minor
changes, additions and modifications necessary to create a legally complete and binding
agreement and the insertion of information in those parts of the Standard Form
Subcontract which are indicated by notes or otherwise to be subject to completion or
finalization.
.4 The Subcontractor shall be prepared to execute the Subcontract within one (1) week after
notification of the acceptabce of its Proposal.
1.3 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
.1 Proposals must be received no later than: Fri., Feb. 16, 2024 before 1:00pm AST

Subcontractor is responsible for confirming receipt of their proposal. Bird Construction
is not responsible for transmission errors (due to file size or otherwise).
