Description

Juniper Ridge Elementary - water source heat pump replacements

The intent of this bid call is to obtain an offer to perform work to complete the replacement of 29 water source heat pump units at Juniper Ridge Elementary, for a Stipulated Price Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents. The work for this project shall include, but not limited to:
• Mechanical – the contractor shall provide all parts, equipment and labour to replace 29 water source heat pumps, including re/re of hydronic/duct/electric/controls connections. Commissioning and air/water balancing to be completed.
• Bonding – Bonding is required as outlined in tender documents.
• Additional Instructions and Items
– ▪ Gym Floor – Scaffolds are permitted on the gymnasium floor. If man lifts are to be used, a minimum of ¾ ” plywood must cover the gym floor beneath the lift at all times to prevent damage to the floor.
▪ The project shall be substantially complete by August 31, 2024. After hours work is permitted if necessary to get the project complete by the required end date.
▪ The owner will permit the contractors to locate a container on site for secure storage.
▪ The site shall be open on Tuesday, February 27th, 202 at 3:00 pm for the contractors. Juniper Ridge Elementary: 2540 Qu’Appelle Blvd., Kamloops. Please limit visitors to 2 people per company.
