Description

Fraser Health Authority (FHA) intends to Direct Award to SSA Quantity Surveyors Ltd. for Third Party Estimator (TPE) Services to the FH Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment- Phase 2 (Project). This project is proceeding with a Direct Award for TPE Services due to the fact that they have unique experience with the Alliance procurement process. SSA provided consulting services to the only other Alliance Healthcare Project in British Columbia.

The maximum value of this contract award will be in the range of $175,000 - plus tax. FHA has chosen to Direct Award to SSA Quantity Surveyors Ltd. for the following reasons:

• SSA Quantity Surveyors Ltd. has experience and expertise in providing third party estimator services for healthcare projects, including most recently the Cowichan Hospital Redevelopment
• SSA Quantity Surveyors Ltd. has immediate availability of resources to complete the scope of work
• SSA Quantity Surveyors Ltd. has been providing QS services for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment Project which has significant relevance to this TPE scope of work
• SSA Quantity Surveyors Ltd. has detailed knowledge of the Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment Project (Phase 1 and Phase 2)
• SSA Quantity Surveyors Ltd. have unique experience with the Alliance procurement process
• SSA Quantity Surveyors Ltd. has established a close working relationship with the project team and range of subject matter experts
• 
  
  TPE Services firms may challenge this decision by sending an email to both Carolyn Wiens and Lew Shrubsole by February 12, 2024 – 15:00 hours local time.
  Provide proof showing your experience related to the requirements defined in this NOI. Only challenges from qualified TPE Services firms will be reviewed.
