Description

BC Timber Sales, East Kootenay Field Team is inviting tenders for a General Services Contract for FSR & Bridge Project Implementation and Monitoring Services. The successful contractor will provide technical field expertise in forest road engineering. Services will include, but are not limited to:

• engineering road construction contract monitoring
• sign and seal layout, road construction and/or deactivation conformance statements
• road and bridge maintenance contract monitoring
• road inspections
• cost estimating
• coordinate prework meetings and equipment
• equipment supervision and time recording
• ensure conformance with the Environmental Management Systems (EMS) program
• ensure conformance with BC Timber Sales Safety Program
• GIS mapping and GPS activities
• See Schedule A for detailed duties

The service will be performed on an “as needed basis”. There is no guarantee as to the number of days or the continuity of service required. Service will be sporadic in nature.
The “MARSHALLING POINT” for this contract will be Cranbrook, British Columbia.
