Description

Notice is hereby given that Fraser Health Authority (the “Health Authority”), through their collective agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Licensing for Meditech Problem List for the Health Authority for a term of five (5) years at an estimated value of 1,900,000 CAD. IMO (Intelligent Medical Objects) 9600 West Bryn Mawr Ave Ste 100 Rosemont, IL, USA 60018 In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for Fraser Health Authority has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason: • the goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason: To ensure compatibility with existing goods, or to maintain specialized goods that must be maintained by the manufacturer of those goods or its representative. Meditech platform is embedded with IMO as part of the standard content. Additional IMO license is required for Meditech implementations and to operate the Problem list and dictionary, due to their exclusive partnership. Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Elena del Muro, Buyer, by email before 2:00pm Pacific Time, February 8 th, 2024. PHSA will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection. Please Reference File: # PHSA 13269 on all written correspondence.
