WATER TREATMENT AND CONTROL SYSTEMS

Sealed envelopes marked "TENDER - Village of New Maryland, Sunrise Wellfield Development CONTRACT 7 - Water Treatment and Control Systems" will be received at the office of the Village Clerk, Village Office, 584 New Maryland Highway, New Maryland, NB until 3:00 pm local time, Tuesday, February 27, 2024. The name of the Bidding firm shall also be indicated on the envelope. Public opening of bids will immediately follow in the Village Council Chambers.

This IBA-Rural and Northern Communities Infrastructure Project No. 15753 is co-funded by the Government of Canada, the Province of New Brunswick, and the Village of New Maryland.

The proposed Work generally involves the supply and installation of the following major components at two (2) separate project building sites:

- Construction of a Water Treatment Process (WTP) Control Building and a Booster Pump + PRV Station, incl. foundations, superstructures, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems at both building sites.
- Site development at both sites, incl. power supply connection and distribution, emergency power generator and propane storage tank(s), site grading, paving, landscaping, and security fencing.
- Installation of a Village supplied packaged water treatment system.
- Supply and installation of water process piping systems, backwash and high-lift pumps, booster pump package, and chemical dosing systems.
- Electrical controls, instrumentation, and SCADA system.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid Price, incl. HST. The successful Bidder will be required to provide Performance Securities as specified in the Bid Documents.

General Contractors only may acquire Bid Documents from Susan Breen (506-451-0055) at WSP Canada Inc., 80 Bishop Drive, Fredericton, NB at a cost of $150.00 (incl. HST) per set. Non-refundable payment by cheque or money order only.

Bid Documents will be on display at the Construction Association Offices in Fredericton, Saint John and Moncton, NB.

The lowest or any bid will not necessarily be accepted.
