Notice is hereby given that BC Hydro will be inviting tenders on the purchase of the materials and equipment listed below:
Location: 12345-88th Ave. Surrey, BC

Scrap materials in separate commodity groups including:

Item 1 – scrap lead covered cable
Item 2 – scrap electrical equipment
Item 3 – scrap distribution transformers

Contract is from 1 April 2024 – 31 March 2026 with option for two one-year extensions.

• Contractor will supply open top roll off bins approximately 20’ long (40 yard bins) with end doors only to be used. NO CONTAINERS. Two bin system to be in place with 48 hour turnaround time. Long delays in bin placement will result in cancellation of the contract. Bins must be in acceptable condition per BC Hydro.
• Mandatory Viewing:
  
• Mandatory viewing to take place on February 20, 21, 22 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Please email Debbie Linklater or Susan Taylor to set up a time for viewing. Request for Tender document packages will be provided to contractors at the viewing.

• Customers MUST wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during viewing.
