SCOPE OF WORK:

The City of Moncton requires the contract growing of Bedding Plants for the 2024 summer
season. It will be the grower"s responsibility to supply all plant material and seed as
specified.

The City requires various species and cultivars of plant material to be supplied and
delivered in cell pack trays (48 plants per tray), 9cm pots (18 plants per tray), 6" pots
(individually potted), and one (1) gallon pots (individually potted).

The City also requires the supplier to plant and grow in ten (10) large hanging baskets for City Hall. The baskets will be planted with stock from the vendor based on Tender prices and grown for a minimum of three (3) weeks in the greenhouse prior to delivery. The 36-inch baskets will be supplied by the City.

PROPOSED CONTRACT TERM:

The proposed term of this agreement shall be for a twelve (12) month period, commencing
from the date of award. The City may exercise an option to renew the agreement for up to
four (4) additional twelve (12) month periods, if it is in the City"s best interest to do
so. Firm pricing shall be provided on the Bidder"s Response Sheet(s) for Year One(1), and
a maximum percent price increase shown for all "optional" contract periods (Year Two (2),
Year Three (3), Year Four (4), and Year Five (5)).


GUARANTEED PURCHASE QUANTITIES / CONTRACT DOLLAR VALUE:

The estimated value of this agreement is approximately $45,000.00 per year, plus H.S.T.,
based on an average of total dollar value of bedding plants purchased over the previous
four (4) calendar years (March 1, 2017 to February 28, 2021), but should not be construed
as representing a guaranteed annual contract value.

The quantities specified on the "Bidder"s Response Sheet(s)" are representative of the
City"s forecasted seasonal requirements, but should not be construed as representing actual order quantities.

The City of Moncton does not guarantee a minimum purchase quantity of plants, nor a minimum contract dollar value to the successful Supplier(s) in relation to the performance of this Contract. QUOTED PRICES BASED ON MINIMUM ORDER DOLLAR VALUES OR ORDER QUANTITIES SHALL BE REJECTED.
