• The Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project (WaSSIP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of Tang Krasang Water Supply System.
• The Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation/ Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project (MISTI/ WaSSIP) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction of Tang Krasang Water Supply System, located at Tang Krasang Commune, Santuk District, Kampong Thom Province. The construction period is 18 months.
• Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers dated July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from MISTI/WaSSIP, Mr. Kim Chanrithy, Procurement Officer, Email: kimchanrithy123@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 13:30 p.m. to 17:30 p.m. at the address given below (specified in paragraph 9).
• The bidding document in English can be downloaded for free by interested eligible Bidders from MISTI’s website: https://www.misti.gov.kh/ ; or direct download from the Link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1pNbhvrR5FqcbEpRzo0CXxe7-wZr1jKCH?usp=share_link , with a written request for accessing the link to Mr. Kim Chanrithy, through the email address given above (specified in paragraph 4).
• Bids must be delivered to the address below (specified in paragraph 9) on or before 12 December, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Electronic bidding will NOT be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The outer Bid envelopes marked “ORIGINAL BID”, and the inner envelopes marked “TECHNICAL PART” will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below (specified in paragraph 9) on 12 December, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. All envelopes marked “FINANCIAL PART” shall remain unopened and will be held in safe custody of the Employer until the second public Bid opening.
• All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” as appropriate of USD 114,000.
• Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
