The Government of Belize has received financing from the World Bank for the Belize Blue Cities and Beyond Project, being implemented by the Ministry of Finance. The Belize Blue Cities and Beyond Project aims to improve Belize"s management capacity for sustainable coastal and blue economy development, increase safe water supply and reduce land-based pollution discharges at targeted urban areas, and in case of an Eligible Crisis or Emergency, to respond promptly and effectively to it.

The Ministry of Finance, through its Central Executing Unit, intends to allocate a portion of the proceeds of the Belize Blue Cities and Beyond Project for the procurement and delivery of Vehicles and Related Equipment (hereinafter called “Goods”), to support project implementation, as follows:

Bidders may submit a bid for One Lot or for ALL Lots. Each bid must include every item within the selected lot to be considered responsive.

The Ministry of Finance invites bidders to access the complete bidding document at https://procurement.gov.bz/mof-acquisition-of-project-vehicles-bz-ceu-460796-go-rfb-mof-2026/

The selection of bids will be conducted in accordance with the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (February 2025). The process will also adhere to the procurement policies and the best practices of the Government of Belize. This selection is open to all eligible bidders as defined by the referenced policies.

Bids should be submitted in English before February 23, 2026; 10:00 a.m. (Local Belize Time). Late submissions will not be accepted.

Submission of Bids should be made either:

• By Email: One (1) password protected PDF file sent to procurement@ceu.mof.gov.bz, or
• In Hard Copy: Two (2) printed copies delivered to the address below, clearly indicating “Request for Bid – Acquisition of Project Vehicles”
• The subject line of the email or the envelope should clearly state: “Request for Bid – Acquisition of Project Vehicles”.
