Support implementation of the Smart Specialisation Strategy

Description: The Project will: • Set up a management and information system for implementation of the Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3) and integrated stakeholders’ coordination. • Support the design and implementation of a set of support measures for technological and practice-based innovative development deriving from S3, such as: digital and green transition of SMEs; mobility scheme between academia and industry to allow highly qualified young researchers and professionals to transfer know-how in production environment, etc. • Promotion of the EU programs targeting S3, European Research Area and the European Innovation Area and strengthening the capacity of national stakeholders (small and medium sized companies, academic institutions, business support organisation, etc.) to increase the country participation in the Union programs. • Strengthen the capacity of the Ministry of Economy and Labour and other public bodes to understand and adopt the EU policy and legislation in the area of services. Support the transposition process and upgrade the Point of Single Contact for services to ensure continuous functionality and full online access of the service providers to information and administrative services.
