         The new European Fund for Sustainable Development Plus (EFSD+), builds on the European Fund for Sustainable Development (EFSD) as established by Regulation (EU) 2017/1601, constitutes an integrated financial package supplying financing capacity in the form of grants, technical assistance, financial instruments, budgetary guarantees and blending operations worldwide. The EFSD+ includes budgetary guarantee operations covered by the External Action Guarantee.

         The contractor is required to provide legal advice during the negotiation of Guarantee agreements stemming from EFSD + implementation. The contractor shall also produce the term sheets for the EFSD + Guarantees, and draft individual guarantee agreements as well as their potential amendments.
