         Contracting of the design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a 525kV DC Cable System consisting of 2 pole cables and a dedicated metallic return with a rated transport capacity of 2000MW and a Fiber Optic Cable System with 144 fibres. The DC Cable system will connect a DC converter station, located on the Princess Elisabeth Island in Belgium’s EEZ in the North Sea, to an onshore DC converter stations located on the Belgian mainland in Bruges. The total length of the DC Cable System in circuit kilometer is approx. 65km (55 circuit km offshore, 10 circuit km onshore). The FO Cable System will be installed along the same route as the DC Cable System to enable data transmission between both converter stations
