The overall objective of the call for tenders is to outsource the design and set-up of a end-to-end system and service demonstration of the search and rescue /Galileo (SAR/Galileo) return link service (RLS) two way communication (TWC). As part of this set up, the design and development of two prototypes of second-generation beacon (SGB) for maritime applications - emergency position indicating radio beacon (EPIRB) - and of a demonstration platform are foreseen.
