Explanation:

Im Bereich der Abteilung für Anästhesiologie und Intensivmedizin im Mein Hanusch-Krankenhaus sind rd. 60 Kompakt-Patientenmonitore der Type IntelliVue X2 im Einsatz. Im Zuge des geplanten Austauschs der Monitoring- Geräte (standortfix) wurde bei 11 der rd. 60 Kompakt-Patientenmonitoren des Typs IntelliVue X2 (mobil) eine Nicht-Kompatibilität mit den standortfixen Hauptsystemen festgestellt; aus diesem Grund müssen jene 11 Kompakt-Monitore durch Geräte der Type IntelliVue X3 ersetzt werden. Die Kompakt-Patientenmonitore dienen zur unterbrochenen Messung und Überwachung der Vitalwerte bei allen Patient*innen-Transfers innerhalb des Krankenhauses und müssen am jeweiligen Zielpunkt mit den standortfixen Systemen gekoppelt und synchronisiert werden. Folge einer nicht gekoppelten und synchronisierbaren Monitoranlage wäre eine reduzierte Patientensicherheit, da ein retrospektives Aufarbeiten der physiologischen Daten nahezu unmöglich ist und hiermit gewisse Diagnosen nicht gestellt oder nicht überprüft werden können. Weiters wird bei zeitkritischen Verlegungen durch Wechsel des Monitors ( Neuanlage von EKG, Blutdruckmanschette, etc.) deutlich mehr Zeit benötigt, was zu Patientenschaden bis Tod des Patienten führen kann. Kritisch kranke Patienten benötigen unterbrechungsfreie Überwachung, da es innerhalb kürzester Zeit zu therapiepflichtigen Kreislaufveränderungen kommen kann. Die standortfixen Monitoring-Geräte ( alles Geräte des Herstellers Philips) sind nur mit Kompaktpatientenmonitoren desselben Herstellers kompatibel, da für die Monitore herstellerspezifische Betriebssysteme verwendet werden. Die bereits bestehenden standortfixen Monitore wären ohne kompatible Kompakt-Patientenmonitore wertlos, da ausschließlich der Kompakt-Patientenmonitor die Vitalwerte misst und die standorfixen Monitore diese lediglich anzeigen. Eine Verwendung von Kompakt-Patientenmonitoren eines anderen Herstellers würde folglich, aufgrund von Inkompatibilität der Betriebssysteme, zu einer Nichtfunktionalität des gesamten Patientenmanagements der Intensivstation und der OP-Arbeitsplätze führen und ist daher, aufgrund obiger Ausführungen ausgeschlossen. Aus den angeführten Gründen, können daher ausschließlich Kompakt-Patientenmonitore es Herstellers Philips angeschafft werden.
