II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

Die Bundesrechenzentrum GmbH (BRZ GmbH) ist der führende IT-Dienstleister der Österreichischen Bundesverwaltung, in dieser Rolle entwickelt und betreibt die BRZ GmbH zentrale IT-Lösungen der öffentlichen Hand und verfügt über eines der größten Rechenzentren Österreichs. Die BRZ GmbH führt eine Markterkundung zur Beschaffung einer Software für Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) durch. Ziel ist es, die am Markt verfügbaren DCIM-Lösungen und deren Flexibilität bei möglichen Erweiterungen im Hinblick auf spezielle Anforderungen für den Einsatz als On-Premise-Lösung im öffentlichen Bereich zu erheben.

Die BRZ GmbH möchte eine DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) Softwarelösung in ihren Rechenzentren für Synergien im Bereich der Hardware Infrastruktur implementieren. Als Grundlage sollen Daten dienen, welche bereits in Vorsystemen des Auftraggebers vorhanden sind. Diese Daten sind in das neue Tool per Schnittstelle einzubinden, damit in Zukunft seitens des Auftraggebers keine Mehrfachpflege durchzuführen ist.

Aktuell ist von einer Größenordnung von bereits beim Auftraggeber vorhandenen 400 Racks bzw. einem IT-Whitespace von 2000 m² auszugehen.

Weiters sollen die Daten auch für mehrere Nutzer:innen grafisch aufbereitet werden können.

Diese Bekanntmachung betrifft kein Vergabeverfahren, sondern eine vorgelagerte Markterkundung. Die Angaben in Punkt IV. betreffend die Verfahrensart und in Punkt IV.2.5 sind irrelevant bzw. nicht zutreffend und wurden nur vorgenommen, weil das Bekanntmachungsformular Angaben verlangt. Neben der elektronischen Abgabe des ausgefüllten Fragenkatalogs über die ANKÖ-Vergabeplattform (oben Punkt I.2) ist auch eine Übermittlung via Email an ausschreibung.procurement@brz.gv.at zulässig. Die Angaben in dieser Bekanntmachung sowie in den Unterlagen der Markterkundung sind unverbindlich und binden/beschränken den Auftraggeber nicht hinsichtlich seiner zukünftigen Beschaffungsentscheidungen.
