         Der AG ist der führende IT-Serviceprovider im Public-Sector in Österreich und bedient aktuell mit den bestehenden Lösungen im IT-Service-Management ca. 40 Kunden, die sich in ca. 2.300 Teilorganisationen (z. B. Dienststellen, Organisationseinheiten, …) mit nahezu 112.000 Benutzerinnen und Benutzern und 118.000 Konfigurationen (PC/NB, Server, Switches, Mobile Devices) aufgliedern. Die IT-Dienstleistungen reichen dabei von einfachen Infrastrukturbereitstellungen bis zum Full-Service-Providing. Die Provider-Tätigkeiten werden aktuell im IT-Service-Management mit zwei Lösungen tooltechnisch bedient. Beide Lösungen sind miteinander gekoppelt und bilden zusammen das Configuration-Management-System. Eine dieser Lösungen (KOMPASS) ist eine ca. 30 Jahre alte vollständige Eigenentwicklung, die vordergründig die Themengebiete ITSM, IAM und Facility-Management in sich hochintegriert und hochautomatisiert abdeckt. Diese Lösung interagiert mit ca. 70 Umsystemen und über mehr als 200 Schnittstellen. Die Lösung selbst zeichnet sich durch einen sehr hohen Grad an Integration und Automatisierung aus und wurde über die Jahre entsprechend an die speziellen Bedürfnisse des AG resp. dessen Kunden angepasst. Die verwendeten Implementierungstechnologien stellen jedoch aufgrund ihres Alters eine hohe Hürde in der Nutzung moderner Kommunikationsprotokolle dar. Die zweite Lösung wurde vor ca. 20 Jahren auf Basis eines ITSM-Standardproduktes aufgebaut und deckt schwerpunktmäßig die rechenzentrum-internen ITIL-Prozesse (insbesondere Incident-Management, Change-Management, Configuration-Management, Problem-Management) ab. Das Vergabeverfahren betrifft die Beschaffung einer Softwarelösung zur Ablöse der beiden vorgenannten Lösungen sowie zur Abbildung von Identity und Access Management (IAM) Funktionalitäten, die aus den bestehenden Lösungen zu Identity Management und Access Management herausgelöst werden sollen.
