Heritage Skills Training Course Delivery

The Little Learning Company is delivering a wide range of traditional skills and heritage crafts across Denbighshire, Wrexham and Flintshire. We are looking to work with people who are skilled in a traditional construction skill or craft and who are interested in sharing their skills with others via the delivery of a series of taster and introductory courses.

The aim of our courses is to spread awareness of traditional skills along with the potential employment opportunities within the sector.

We are looking for people who can share their skills with others via sessions held across the three counties.

For those who have not delivered training before, we can provide support with the option to take part in accredited training such as AET. We are interested in hearing from people with skills such as:

Stone Masonry

Hedge Laying

Pottery/Ceramics

Book Binding and Restoration

Hot Lime

Dry Stone Walling

Restoration

Felting

Weaving

Spinning

Corn dolly making

Traditional Carpentry

Courses will be commissioned on a course by course basis for delivery across Denbighshire, Wrexham and Flintshire. An hourly rate for delivery will be agreed along with a budget for course materials/resources.

A DBS must be in place before delivery takes place. Support can be provided with this if required.
