II.2.4) Description of the procurement

The client organisations were looking to appoint a single supplier to provide an integrated E-Learning Experience / E-Learning Management System capable of delivering E-Learning via multiple mediums, minimising back-office activity and facilitating an all-Wales approach to the delivery, receipt and

sharing of learning across Welsh local authorities and participating partner organisations.

The Services to be provided by the Supplier under contract include:

a) LMS licencing and hosting

b) Implementation, integration and training

c) Support, maintenance and development

d) Account management

The supplier has been sourced via Lot 2 - Cloud Software of Crown Commercial Services G-Cloud13 Framework.

The procurement has been progressed following a sourcing exercise within lot 2 - Cloud Software, of Crown Commercial Services G-Cloud13 Framework, which has been let in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations.

As per the established Framework, a technical search was undertaken, which returned a single supplier. The award has therefore progressed on the basis of a direct award call-off as per the submitted G-Cloud commercial terms.
