Description of the goods or services required

Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council (The Contracting Authority) is inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced recycling reprocessors for the purchase of recyclable materials inclusive of

haulage as detailed in the Contract documents and upon the terms and conditions contained in the Conditions of Contract and specifications.

NOTE: The Authority is using eTenderWales to carry out this procurement process.

The Contract is divided by Lot and tenderers may tender for one or any number of lots.

Lot 1 Steel Cans

Lot 2 News and Pams

Lot 3 Cardboard (includes mixed paper and card from trade customers)

Lot 4 Mixed Glass Bottles and Jars

Lot 5 Mixed Plastic Containers
