This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is for a proposed renewal framework for the supply and delivery of waste disposal equipment available to all councils in Scotland and Scotland Excel Associate Members.

It is anticipated that the scope of the supplies covered under the framework will include, but not be limited to, skips, crushers, balers, containers, compactors and shredders.

Scotland Excel envisages publishing a future tender opportunity on behalf of all 32 local authorities in Scotland and all associate members of Scotland Excel, together with any Integration Authority, or other body, established pursuant to the Public Body (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014.

The current framework arrangement is due to expire on 31 March 2024 and Scotland Excel intend to re-tender this framework, with an anticipated start date of 01 April 2024.
