The Council is commissioning advice and information services for people in Calderdale, offering a general advice service which is accessible to all, alongside targeted, specialist services delivered to communities of place and communities of interest who have particularly high needs for advice and information.

The Service must allow access to advice and information across the main areas of civil law covered by the Advice Services Alliance both at Advice and Advice with Casework levels:

The Provider must deliver a responsive, contemporary service which is able to adapt to reflect the changing needs of particular groups due to any legislative / benefit entitlement changes and demographic trends.
