Cardiff and Vale Health Board are looking at sourcing 3D Metal Printers to produce in-house dental and surgical implants.

This is a new requirement and therefore we need a full package to bring the 3D printing service in-house.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement

Cardiff and Vale Health Board are looking at sourcing 3D Metal Printers to produce in-house dental and surgical implants. These include printing for titanium and cobalt chrome.

This is a new requirement and therefore we need a full package to bring the 3D printing service in-house, allowing Cardiff and Vale Health Board to print without any external assistance.

We will also require maintenance for the 3D printers and purchase of consumables to allow 3D printing to take place. These would also make up part of the tender requirement.
