Contract for Proposed Electrical Works at Glais Primary School, Swansea

The works are situated at Glais Primary School, School Road, Glais, Swansea SA7 9EY.

The project shall comprise of works contained within this Specification and associated drawings

relating to the supply, installation, testing, setting to work and commissioning of the Electrical

Engineering Services of the proposed scheme.

The Electrical Contractor shall allow for the supply, installation, commissioning, inspection, and testing

of electrical works to form a complete operational system. This shall include but not be limited to:

Removal of existing installation (Areas of buildings as shown on the drawings).

Installation of the whole of the earthing and bonding.

Retention of the existing distribution system, and the installation of new.

Installation of the whole of the lighting installation inclusive of emergency lighting and external lighting.

Installation of the whole of the small power installation.

Installation of the fire alarm system.

Retention & reconnection of electric space heating/cooling.

Retention & reconnection of electric water heating.

Retention & reconnection of ventilation systems.

Retention & reconnection of warm air hand dryers.

Retention & reconnection of electro mechanical services.

Retention & Reconnection of kitchen catering equipment.

Retention & reconnection of telecommunication/data cabling installation.

Retention & reconnection of security systems/access control/CCTV.

Retention & reconnection of roller shutter doors.

Retention & reconnection of stage and drama lighting.

Installation of other equipment.

Furniture removal where required.

Floor protective coverings.

Cleaning including deep clean of kitchen area.

Associated builders work.

Testing and Commissioning.

Labelling.
