Description of the contract

Flintshire County Council has recently received funding from the Home Office as part of its ‘Safer Streets’ initiative. The aim of the additional funding is seek to reduce rates of anti-social behaviour, violence against women and girls, and acquisitive crime in specific geographic areas.Re- deployable CCTV cameras have been identified as a requirement of the Flintshire expenditure plan. We are seeking to procure robust cameras that can provide high quality images when column mounted. To make Flintshire a safer county to live, work and visit, through targeted intervention.

•To purchase re-deployable CCTV cameras in order to target crime and disorder.

•To accurately record and detect images that could be used to identify offenders.

•The equipment is easy to use for officers and is suitably robust enough to withstand being moved around the county.

•Ensure maintenance arrangements for the equipment to be put in place.

•Provision of analytical statistics.
