RFQ-2023-108 Consultant to support South-South collaboration programmes to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and Ending AIDS by 2030 (Албания - Тендер #47583643)

The purpose of this RFQ is to select suitable supplier for the procurement of Consultant to support South-South collaboration programmes to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and Ending AIDS by 2030.
Objectives
" To strengthen the relation between UNAIDS and the Government of China, especially in the area of resource mobilization.
" To promote the South-South collaboration between China and African countries in AIDS response through Chinas Global Development Initiative.
" To support South-South exchange and bring best practices of China to support global AIDS response.

Scope of work
" Coordinate and support on-going programme implementation and follow-ups with China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA).
" Mapping China-Africa cooperation relations and conduct in-depth analysis of the trends and preferences of Chinas foreign aid funds based on the implementation status of Chinas Global Development Initiative (GDI).
" Support 6-10 selected country offices to draft the proposals for applying fundings from Global Development and South-South Cooperation Fund (GDF).
" Provide technical support to outreach key stakeholders of Chinese Government, including conducting review and analysis of information, or other documents needed.
" Prepare briefings, draft speeches, presentations, talking points and provide inputs to reports on key issues related to HIV and South-South Collaboration for senior UOC representatives as needed.
" Help to prepare the South-South cooperation training workshops and exchange visits.
" Support other South-South Collaboration related work in the UOC

The consultant is expected to work offline, under the supervision of the Global Partnership Advisor of UOC during the consultancy. The timeframe is 60 days over 6month, 20 November 2023 19 September 2024. Among which, 10 working days from 20 November to 31 December, and 50 working days from 1 January to 19 September 2024 is proposed.
