1. The Socialist Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Vietnam Universities Development Project - Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City Subproject, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and installation of equipment for buildings YB1, YB2, YB3.
2. The International Project Management Unit (IPMU) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for goods & related services including: Elevator; BMS system; System of electricity, commuication, network camera; Camera System; Class room devices; Medidum voltage equipment and Furniture.
Location: the planning zone of the Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Hoa ward, Di An city, Binh Duong province.
Delivery period: between June - December, 2025
3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement Regulations for Borrowers of Investment Project Financing Procurement in investment projects in Civil Works, Goods, Non-consulting Services and Consulting Services, July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from International Project Management Unit – Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City; Email: qldaqt@vnuhcm.edu.vn and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 08:00 to 17:00 hours at the address given below.
5. The bidding document in English will be provided freely to interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below. The document will be sent by electronical way through email/or postal.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 AM (GMT+7) on February 10, 2025. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on 10:30 AM (GMT+7) on February 10, 2025.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of VND2 billion or US$79,000.
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
