• The Republic of Uzbekistan (hereinafter called “Borrower”) has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) (the “World Bank”) toward the cost of the project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Automatic Book Scanner for the Creation of a Unified Digital Database of R&D Reports.

2. The MUNIS PIU now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Automatic Book Scanner for the Creation of a Unified Digital Database of R&D Reports. (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1j2PhpXL_YrHdcb1M6FH6IoN0HGJSlOfM/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=103319065924197421654&rtpof=true&sd=true)

3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Quotations (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Automatic Book Scanner for the Creation of a Unified Digital Database of R&D Reports (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from by E-mail munis.project.uz@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours at the address given below.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address Room No. 414, Building No.7, Universitet Street, Tashkent, 100174, Uzbekistan on or before November 13, 2025, 15:00 Tashkent time. Electronic Bidding will be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address Room No. 414, Building No.7, Universitet Street, Tashkent, 100174, Uzbekistan on November 13, 2025, 16:00 Tashkent time.

8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
