1. General Information

The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the World Bank under the “Fergana Valley Water Resources Management Project – Phase II” (EU Grant No. TF0A9862) and intends to apply part of the proceeds to finance consulting services for organizing an international study tour to explore global experience in water resources management.

2. Invitation to Participate

The Center for Implementation of Foreign Investment Projects in the Water Sector (the Center), which is implementing the project, hereby invites eligible and qualified consulting firms to express their interest in providing the above-mentioned services.

3. Selection Method

The selection will be conducted in accordance with the Consultant Qualification Selection (CQS) method as set out in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers: “Procurement in Investment Project Financing” (July 2016, revised version). Participation is open to all eligible firms from eligible countries.

4. Request for Additional Information

The Terms of Reference (ToR) can be provided upon written request to the address indicated below.

5. Consultant Qualification Requirements

Interested firms must demonstrate the following qualifications:

• At least five years of experience in organizing international study tours;
• Proven track record of organizing at least five international study tours of a similar nature (in terms of subject and format) within the past five years;
• Appointment of a team leader fluent in Uzbek/Russian and English, with at least five years of professional experience in the water and/or agriculture sector.

6. Submission of Expressions of Interest

Expressions of interest (including a cover letter and information on qualifications) must be submitted to the address below no later than 5:00 PM (Tashkent time) on June 30, 2025.
Submissions may be made electronically to the e-mail address provided. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
