• The Government of Uzbekistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Agriculture Modernization Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of: laboratory equipment for Scientific Research Institutes and AKIS.
• The International Center for Strategic Development and Research in the Field of Food and Agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Purchase equipment for laboratory equipment.
• Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Third edition-July 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from International Center for Strategic Development and Research in the Field of Food and Agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculture and inspect the bidding document during office hours 09:00 to 17:00 Tashkent time at the address given below.
• The Bidding document in English may be sent to interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below. The document will be sent by e-mail.
• Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before April 29, 2025, 15.00 Tashkent time. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bid envelopes marked "ORIGINAL BID" will be publicly opened in the presence of designated representatives of the Bidders and anyone else who wishes to be present at the address below on April 29, 2025 at 15:00 Tashkent time.
• All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing declaration.
• Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
