We are requesting a quotation for the design, development, integration, and manufacturing of a BLE-enabled rechargeable case product. We are looking to build a rechargeable Bluetooth device integrated into a protective case form factor and are seeking a partner who can support the full process from finalizing CAD design through tooling, prototyping, and production.
  
  This is intended to be a BLE accessory product, not a GPS tracking device, not an Apple Find My product, and does not require custom PCB development. The goal is to use an existing BLE module with hardware and base firmware already developed and integrate it into a consumer product.
  
  The scope includes three main areas. First, case design and manufacturing: We are looking for support to finalize the industrial and mechanical design (including CAD), develop the internal structure, and prepare for tooling and mass production. The case must accommodate a BLE module, rechargeable battery, wireless charging coil (Qi preferred), buzzer, vibration motor, and LED. It should allow wireless charging to function properly, sound to be clearly audible, vibration to be felt externally, and LED indicators to be visible, with all components securely integrated. Deliverables should include finalized CAD files, prototype units, tooling, and production-ready manufacturing capability.
  
  Second, electronics integration: We are looking to source and integrate an existing BLE module (not custom-built) and integrate the rechargeable battery, charging system (Qi preferred, wired acceptable), buzzer, vibration motor, and LED into the case. The BLE module must support open communication and not be part of a locked ecosystem, and should provide SDK, API, or BLE protocol documentation to allow external mobile APP control. The device should support two-way BLE communication, allowing the APP to trigger sound, vibration, and LED, and should provide battery level, connection status, last ping time, and separation alert capability. This scope does not include custom chip design, custom PCB development, GPS, Apple Find My, or supplier-locked APP ecosystems. Deliverables should include a fully integrated working device with stable BLE performance, all components functioning within the case, and documentation for APP integration.
  
  Third, optional APP and backend: Please provide separate pricing for mobile APP development (iOS priority) that supports BLE connection and control, including triggering sound, vibration, and LED, displaying battery and connection status, and providing separation alerts. Backend scope (AWS or similar) would include user accounts, device registration, and storage of telemetry data from the APP such as connection events, battery status, and user actions.
  
  Please include a detailed cost breakdown for case design and manufacturing, electronics integration, prototype builds, and unit cost at 1K, 5K, and 10K volumes. Provide timelines for design finalization, prototyping (EVT/DVT), and production readiness. Include recommended BLE modules with confirmation of SDK or open BLE access, as well as size and integration constraints. Also include relevant experience with similar products, particularly BLE devices, rechargeable consumer electronics, and small form factor products.
  
  The end goal is a consumer product where the user opens the APP, connects to the device, presses a button, and the device responds with sound, vibration, or light, while the APP stores and manages data.
