The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to issue a Sole Source, Fixed Price contract to Bell Textron, CAGE Code 97499, for the procurement of one (1) Combining Gear Box Work Dolly, p/n T101753-101, in support of the H-1 Czech Foreigh Military Sales program.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" for this action. Bell Textron is the sole developer, designer, and manufacturer of the required PSE and is the only source with the requisite knowledge, technical expertise, and data to manufacture this item. The Government does not have the technical data to obtain this support equipment from an alternate source.

A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any responses received. There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.
