This solicitation is for Uniform Rental/Alterations/Laundering for the James E. Van Zandt (Altoona) VA Medical Center in accordance with the Statement of Work.

This procurement is being completed in accordance with FAR 13. Award is intended to be a five (5) year Fixed Priced Requirements Contract. Unilateral Task Orders will be issued to fund an authorize performance contingent upon availability of funding.

The Altoona/James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center, located at 2907 Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602, has a requirement for a firm fixed price contract to provide staff uniforms. The anticipated period of performance for this requirement is five years.

The vendor shall provide a complete uniform rental service for the Maintenance and Repair (M&R) section of Facilities Service located at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center. The rental agreement shall include the following goods and services: weekly laundering, weekly inspection, repairs, delivery, size changes, replacement, periodic communication with M&R, tracking reports, program management, on-hand inventory, ordering, and initial outfitting and sizing. All goods and services shall be provided in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions contained herein.
