NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a commercial Sole Source contract to Ecolab Inc, CAGE: 85884 in accordance with FAR 12 and FAR 6.302-1.

Commander, Navy Region Southwest requires the installation and replacement/lease of its (4) High Hood Conveyor Dishwashing Machines, (4) Water Softeners at CNRSW’s Over the Horizon locations across the Southern California area. The contractor shall be responsible for the maintenance and calibration of the leased dishwashers throughout the life of the contract. Additionally, the contractor shall provide and install required ventilation exhaust hoods and dish tables. Specifically, the equipment to be leased are (4) brand new Ecolab, EC66HH 66-inch conveyor High Hood Dishwashing Machines or equivalent.

Ecolab is the sole manufacturer and lessor of these machines and they are the only dishwashers which fit into the existing galley’s parameters. The proposed contract action is for a Sole Source Firm-Fixed-Price contract under FAR Part 12 for commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals and no solicitation nor RFQ will be forthcoming. Responsible sources may identify their interest and submit a capability statement in response to this notice via e-mail to Melissa.e.ferri.civ@us.navy.mil which shall be considered by the agency. Information received will be considered for the sole purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to not compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government.
