The Defense Logistics Agency - Energy (DLA Energy) anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) within the next 60 days. The RFP will be published electronically on the Contract Opportunities website at SAM.GOV. Interested companies responding to the solicitation will be required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) at SAM.gov.

This pre-solicitation notice is for the upcoming RFP for environmental remediation, environmental compliance, and environmental facility maintenance services at two (2) California
facilities: DFSP Norwalk, CA and DFSP San Pedro, CA, in support of DLA Energy’s goal of attaining Site Closure while restoring and maintaining the Facility in a cost effective manner.
The NAICS Code for this procurement is 562910 and will be solicited on an unrestricted basis.
The period of performance is a four-year period from May 1, 2025 through April 30, 2029 with a six-month extension provision from May 1, 2029 through October 31, 2029. The Government anticipates awarding two (2) firm fixed-price Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, one for each location.
This is not a RFP or a promise by the Government to pay for information received in response to this synopsis or any subsequent announcement. This information is subject to modification and in no way binds the Government to award a contract.
