DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

This project will renourish shoreline in Miami-Dade County, within the village of Bal Harbour, between Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Range Monuments R-27 in the north and R-31.5 in the south. The project includes construction of a beach berm. The sand for the project will be sourced from an upland sand mine. Project work also includes, but is not limited to, beach tilling, vibration control and monitoring, environmental species monitoring, and turbidity monitoring.

The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 16 October 2024 and bids will be due on or about 15 November 2024.

The project estimated period of performance is as follows:

Commence work no later than (NLT) 90 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) and complete work NLT 250 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Estimated magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000.

North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 237990, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities. Small Business Size Standard is $37.0 million.
